Chester Township Fire Company will be hosting the new Advanced Fire Police Class. The class will be held on June 4th & 5th from 8am till 5pm and the cost will be $55. Cost includes the class, book, and lunch. Chester Township Fire Company is located at 2410 Concord Rd Chester, Pa. 19013. Ridley Park Police is requesting assistance for their annual Main Street Festival on October 10th from 1pm until 6pm (1300 – 1800 hrs). Tinicum Township Police Department is requesting fire police to assist with traffic control for the annual Yacht Stock on Saturday October 9, 2021 from 8:30 AM – 10:00 PM (08:30 hrs. – 22:00 hrs.). It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Capt. Thomas Royds. “Roydsy,” as he was affectionately known, died in the line of duty serving the residents of Lower Merion as a career firefighter. We extend our condolences to the Royds family and our brothers and sisters at Lower Merion Fire Department and Lower Merion Professional Firefighters Association IAFF Local 2844.
Ridley Park Police is requesting assistance of 7 fire police officers to assist with this years fireworks at the lake from 5pm till 10pm on July 3rd. Fire Police will be meeting at Constitution Terrace and W. Ridley Ave for assignments. Ridley Park Police Chief has advised that they will be closing the roads at 5pm this year.
