James H Robison

James H. Robison, 88, of Middletown Township, died on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Broomall Manor.

Born in Ridley Park, Pa., Jim had also lived in Parkside before moving to Middletown Township.

Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the 2nd Infantry. After the Army, Jim attended and graduated from PMC now Widener University. He had been employed by Ford Motor Co., in Chester, Pa., and later by Sun Oil Co., as an accountant until his retirement in 1986. After his retirement from Sun Oil, Mr. Robison became a Court Officer for the late Honorable Judge Wright.

Mr. Robison had been active in fire service, having been a member of Parkside Fire Company, and the former Lima Fire Company. He is a life member of the Middletown Fire Company, where he was the long-time treasurer and a member of the Fire Police.

Active in Middletown Township, Mr. Robison was a Judge of Elections, a Committee Person and a member of the Cable Committee.
He was a member of the former Second Presbyterian Church of Chester.

He was the Beloved Husband of the late Helen S. Robison, who died in 1990. He is survived by his beloved wife Regina Conway Robison; a son James J. (Robin) Robison, a daughter Dr. Janet M. Robison (Bill); also survived by Larry, David (Tina), Judy and Elaine Hill and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home Middletown (Route 352) & Knowlton roads, Middletown Township, Pa., where friends may call after 10 a.m. Interment in Edgewood Memorial Park will be private.
