Parkside Fire Company 100th Anniversary & Last Delaware County Fireman’s Association Parade

Parkside Fire Company will be celebrating their 100th anniversary and hosting the Last Delaware County Fireman’s Association Parade on October 5th, 2019. Fire Police are being requested by Mayor Thomas Deitman for the parade route and to be at the staging areas during the event. Line-up and judging of apparatus will be located on E. Elkington Avenue in Chester Park and the parade will start from that point at 12 pm noon and wind it’s way through the borough of Parkside and end at the firehouse located at W. Roland Road and Norfolk Lane. Apparatus that will be staying for the event will be staging at Our Lady of Charity Church after the parade. Fire Police are being requested to arrive at the Elementary School lot located at 2 E. Forestview Road at 10:30 am to meet with the Mayor and get assignments. They will need approximately 15 Fire Police officers for this event. The event will run from 11 AM until 5 PM. Letter will be posted upon receipt from Mayor’s office, will be made available if needed on the day of the parade as well.
