Edward J. Arscott, Sr., 79
Edward J. Arscott, Sr., 79, of Trainer, PA died on July 9, 2014 at home. Born in Chester, PA, he was lifelong resident of Trainer. Edward retired from FMC in Marcus Hook, PA where he was a sheet metal mechanic. After his retirement, he then worked in security. Ed was a honorary member of the Trainer Fire Co. and past Assistant Chief of Fire Police in Trainer. He was at one time involved in the boy scouts, served as scoutmaster and was awarded the “Order of the Arrow”. He was a member of the “Second Time Around Parenting Group” and one of his hobbies was candlemaking. Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Edward B. and Josephine Robinson Arscott, wife, Pauline A. Johnson Arscott who died in 2008, son, Russell Arscott and sister, Arlene Arscott.
Survivors: 6 children, Elizabeth Albany, Edward J. Arscott Jr., Charles Arscott, John Arscott, JoAnn (Danny) Graham and Mary Magaw. He was also involved in raising 2 of his 7 grandchildren, Albany and Christine Magaw.
