Robert C. “Bob” VanGorden, 59 Life Long Resident of Eddystone

Robert C. “Bob” VanGorden, 59, died December 5, 2010 at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland. Bob was employed by DuPont Graphic Center in Boothwyn for 27 years and Media Copy Inc. for 10 years. A dedicated man to his community, Bob was the Captain of the Eddystone Fire Police and a lifetime member of the Eddystone Fire Co. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, and annually volunteering at the McDonald’s LPGA Golf Tournament.

Bob was the son of the late Robert T. and Marie (Refsnyder) VanGorden and brother of the late Sandra Hudson. Survivors: Wife Janice (Hartleben) VanGorden; 1 daughter Lisa Alcaro (Joseph) of Temple, PA; 1 brother Bill VanGorden of Pataskala, OH
