Robert W. Trabosh Sr., 87, died March 19, 2011, in Vitas at Mercy Fitzgerald Hopsital. He was born in Pottsville, PA, and a Veteran of the US Air Force. Mr. Trabosh worked for Acme Markets for 35 years as an Electrician. He was also a long-time member of the Amvets. As part of a USO effort, he and his wife were always at the airport to welcome our boys home. He was also a Boy Scout leader and helped direct traffic for the fire police. He loved sports, especially fishing and hunting; and he never missed an Eagles game. When he was with his family, he was happiest, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. They meant the world to him.

He was pre-deceased by his wife of 65 years, Jeanette (nee Heafner), who passed away in 2010, and son Robert Trabosh, who passed away in 2009. Survivors: Daughter Barbara Trabosh Pearce (Bill), of Clifton Hts., son, John Traboscia (Denise) of Clifton Hts. and daughter Carol Woolett (Ken) of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren Robert Trabosh III, Andrew Trabosh, and Natalie Traboscia; great-grandchildren Jacquie, Allie, Evan, Samantha, Isabella, and Nicky; also sister June MacPhearson of Bucks County, PA; brother William Trabosh of Levittown, PA.

Visitation: Visitors may call at the Church of the Redeemer Episcopal Church on Springfield Road in Springfield, PA on Thursday, March 24, 11 AM to 1 PM. Service to follow at 1 PM. Donations in his name may be made to Vitas Hospice, 1740 Walton Road, Suite 100, Blue Bell, PA 19422, and to the disabled veterans.
